Christmas time is about the family. Or at least that is what I heard Mummy saying the other day. Mummy and Daddy are my family. They are all I have known and they love my little socks off, and I will be with them for Christmas...but sometimes I wonder if they are really all I have known? They don't look like me. Or smell like me. I know that Daddy farts all the time which is a gift I posess too, but somehow I know we are different. Sometimes in my dreams I see other Boxer doggies. I feel them licking me and nipping my ears. I smell their doggy fur and cuddle up with them for a snooze. They seem so real, but I can't quite place them. Perhaps they are not really a dream. Perhaps they are my real family. Perhaps they were the siblings I was thrown into the world with one day, and my Mummy picked me out of all of them. I've heard her say that I was the best choice. But what does that mean? And where will my lost doggy family be this Christmas? Which loving human hands will be stroking their bellies....?

OH Juliet. You have no idea how these photographs affect me. My 13 year-old son wanted nothing for Christmas but a Boxer. There were boxer puppies but at that time they were too young to leave their mother. They lived in a ranch with all the other puppies and dogs for this pet shop. The caretaker was a smoker and the barn caught fire. My son is distraught. He won't be able to select one until February. My son does not want anything else and we can't find a boxer...

Samson is lucky. A beautiful dog. I love Boxers!!!

Just think, if we had stayed with our dog families, who would pick up our poop?

Really? We smell different?? I've always thought mum and I smell the same! Afterall, I do eat from her bowls, take food off her forks, sleep on her bed, rub my face all over her, and drool on her pillow. You should try that Samson, maybe you will find your mom smelling like "Samson".

ps. you're on my buddy list now, thanks for visiting me!

Can those puppies by any cuter?? My sisters and I don't want our yellow lab to give birth anymore because it breaks our heart when we have to part with the puppies.

oh Samson. You are such a lucky doggie.
Perhaps you should ask your mummy to have lots of babies for you to play with.

Hey Buster. never a more true word was spoken!

And Sunshade, I do rub myself on her. I can do this really cool trick where I shake my head, let my chops flap up and down and spray saliva about! That usually hits Mummy right in the face....but she washes it off!! How can I persuade her that slobber and smelly smels are good? P.S - you are on my buddy list too
;0)

Your heart might be broken Menchie, but just think of all those families that enjoy the little guys!!

Yes and I personally think she should have been arrested for criminal neglect.

Thats a very deep post Samson.....I think Christmas evokes all sorts of deep stuff as mum has been sad too as she misses some of her family who are not with us anymore!
We love you and will be your new "on line" family!

Yes Sunshade....I am the pup eating out of his own bowl in the centre of the shot. Me?? Share my bowl with another doggy? Never!!!! And I am lucky to have a saggy face...it helps to create all kinds of goo in the mouth.

Hey!!! I've just realised what Caroline said.....she keeps on reminding Mummy how great Kiddies are....I love kiddies too, they run about and make me all excited!! Maybe Mummy will sooner rather than later.

Thanks for the invitation into the fold Loui!!!!! Hope to see you on Christmas day!!

Hehehehe... good for you for not sharing, food is precious!!

Hey I just want to drop you a note re. raw egg whites, unless you are a good boy twice a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days year, you are safe from the biotin deficiency. Don't want to over alarm you LOL. Once or twice a week is completely fine. Since I get "4" egg whites a day, I would be at risk if I were to eat it raw.
